Tablescape Thursday A Independence Day & Simple Pleasures with Family

Happy Tablescape Thursday! it's been a long time since I have participated in this wonderful fun Thursday event hosted by Susan. Thank you Susan.

Though my tablescape is nothing fancy I thought I would share it anyway because we had a nice time with family where I actually did not use paper plates on the 4th but we had a sit down meal at the table. It was nice to be with my family.

A small table runner that I quilted, it's not red white and blue, but it works. I need to get busy on my red white and blue one that I have been wanting to make for two years!

What's a great Independence day celebration without one of my favorite girls my granddaughter Morgan. She is so proud of herself for being almost as tall as me!

Have a wonderful Thursday! ~Kat

  10. How pretty! It's so festive, and I agree, much better than the traditional paper plates you normally see on July 4th. I love the flags tied to the silverware.

  13. Hi Kat,
thank you for your kind visit and your sweet comment. Your patriotic table is so nice. I like the quilt and the stars added the needed red color for the patriotic idea so well. And what a cute idea to tight the flag on the flatware with the little ribbon. So pretty.
    Greetings, Johanna
